Republic Day Celebrations at an Orphanage

On this day the event started with flag hoisting, on the occasion of Republic day by the elders present at old age home. After completion of flag hoisting, 10 minutes of speech about republic day was given by member of SEA club and we celebrated the day by distributing chocolates and fruits to all the children and elders. We encouraged the cultural performances of students and conducted a drawing competition to all the children over there. An essay writing competition was also conducted, and the best arts and essays were appreciated by prizes. We spent a really great time there. At the end, we contributed a plant to the orphanage and planted it in the premises of that place as our memory.
