Workshop on Know Your PC
To provide knowledge on “PC (personal computer) and Laptop” regarding their hardware properties and installation of operating systems and architecture of the motherboard and processors. The lecture was started at 10.00 am discussing about the internal organization of PC, parts organized and architecture of it. Practical session is handled by a technician from the systems department and students of 3rdyear. All the students were made into groups each group of 5 members. The session involved with dismantling and reassemble the PC parts and desktops. The practical session closed with a demonstration of how to install the OS in PC.
