Social Event at Chiguru Children's Village

This is the exact reasons S.E.A. (Software Engineering Associates) Club chose to help the kids by visiting and providing resources to them. A very popular newsoutlet called The Hindu said, “The serene sprawling campus of “Chiguru”, a home for street children run by the Don Bosco and Navajeevan BalaBhavan on the banks of the Krishna on the Amaravati road near here, reverberated with a lot of fun and frolic on Saturday on the occasion of Children’s Day in a different kind of celebrations jointly organized by The Hindu in association with Vilan.” After deciding on going to Chiguru Children’s village, SEA collected funds from various people in the club and went on to buy resources that the children would need. Then they gave out utensils such as color pencils, crayons, and storybooks, which the kids needed.The SEA conducted competitions in running, drawing, dancing and other extra curricular activities so that the competitiveness was created within them. After all, competitiveness is what drives people to improve and get out of their comfort zone.
